Botox

Botulinum toxin (Botox) is a neurotoxin (nerve poison) that is available for cosmetic and medical purposes. It is injected at specific places in muscles (motor points) to temporarily stop them from contracting. It does not require any anesthetic and is performed in the doctor’s office.
